Ingredients in Spaghetti in Pesto Sauce Recipe: The basic ingredient in this spaghetti recipe is the freshly made pesto sauce that has parmesan cheese, nuts and most importantly basil, which keeps the dish fresh and is a great antioxidant.
Ingredients of Spaghetti in Pesto Sauce
- 250 Gram Spaghetti (Boiled in a pinch of salt and some oilve oil till al dente)
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1 sprig Mint leaves (to garnish)
- 2 Cherry tomatoes
- 1 Garlic clove (whole), peeled
- For the Pesto Sauce:
- 2 Cups Basil
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts or pine nuts (toasted)
- To taste Salt
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 3 Tbsp Olive oil
How to Make Spaghetti in Pesto Sauce
- Prepare the Pesto Sauce:
- 1.In a blender add all the ingredients and mix till a semi-fine paste is achieved.
- Prepare the Pasta:
- 1.In a pan add the olive oil and the garlic clove. Add the cherry tomatoes. Remove the whole garlic clove.
- 2.Add the pesto sauce. Cook for 1 minute.
- 3.Add the boiled spaghetti.
- 4.Garnish with a mint sprig and serve hot.
